Purpose:
Deep Journey Tours provides a way to explore the world uniquely. It is not
the average vacationing tourists agenda. The aim is to enable the journeyer
to empower, educate, restore and energize themselves while contributing
in ecologically conscious ways and experiencing ancient and beautiful places
and cultures. Adventures are designed by your guide, Meg Easling, for people
of average physical ability, who have interests in the arts, the healing
plants, sacred places, ancient temples and exploring in the company of like-minded
people. It is group travel re-invented by Meg. Some of the journeys are
for women only. Some are for students or groups of friends who want a customized
tour to experience together and with a guide.
Our accommodations and meals will be healthy , simple and shared. Our days
will be spent exploring and honoring nature and the local cultures and meeting
with and learning from local people who are artists, craftspersons, teachers,
healers, herbalists, storytellers, guides or ecologically involved. The
adventure usually includes much time learning from a local guide about his/her
culture. Laughter, camaraderie, good times and adventures are priorities.
Tours are usually limited to 8 to 15 people. Smaller groups are possible
on request.
The ultimate goal is to re-enter our own culture as inspired and evolved
people who have deepened their connections with nature, with themselves,
with each other and with the people we meet on the journey. Brace yourself
